Job Title: OpenText Exstream Developer / Senior Developer / Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced OpenText Exstream Developer/Lead with 1020 years of IT experience and solid expertise in Customer Communications Management (CCM). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream for high-volume document generation across print, email, SMS, and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream.
- Create and modify templates, correspondence, statements, invoices, policies, notices, and customer-facing documents.
- Develop dynamic document generation solutions based on business requirements.
- Configure and manage Exstream Designer, Design Manager, Communications Server, and Runtime Engine.
- Integrate Exstream with enterprise applications and upstream/downstream systems.
- Develop document workflows for print and digital delivery channels.
- Perform data mapping, business rule implementation, and template customization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize document generation performance.
- Participate in architecture discussions,



code reviews, and release planning.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills

- 10–20 years of IT experience with 3+ years of OpenText Exstream development experience.
- Strong expertise in OpenText Exstream Designer and Communication Builder.
- Experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM).
- Hands-on experience in template design, document composition, and document generation.
- Strong understanding of business rules and data-driven document creation.
- Experience integrating Exstream with enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT, and JSON.
- Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience in production support, deployment, and release management.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in OpenText Exstream Cloud or Enterprise Communication Platform.
- Knowledge of Java, .NET, or web services.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Exposure to document archival and content management solutions.
- Knowledge of print stream technologies (AFP, PDF, PostScript).
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecom, or Utilities domains.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
