Senior Executive Coding Auditor (IP DRG) Healthcare Remote – 3+ Years

We are looking for professionals with 3+ years of post-CCS certification experience in Inpatient DRG auditing/validation to join a growing healthcare team. Responsibilities

1. Reviewing inpatient medical records to validate the accuracy of assigned diagnosis and procedure codes.
2. Ensuring DRG assignments are clinically supported by the available documentation.
3. Identifying coding discrepancies and recommending appropriate corrections.
4. Auditing coding quality while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards.
5. Providing constructive feedback to coding teams for continuous quality improvement.
6. Maintaining audit logs and productivity records as per defined processes.
7. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve coding-related queries and clarifications.
8. Adhering to organizational quality, compliance, and data confidentiality standards.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3+ years of experience after obtaining CCS certification in IP DRG Coding Auditing/Validation OR 2+ Years of experience with any of these certification (CPC/ CCS/CIC).
2. CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) certification is mandatory with atleast 3 years ofexperince post certification.
3. Strong experience in Inpatient DRG auditing, validation,



or quality assurance.
4. Sound knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRG methodology, and clinical documentation review.
5. Experience with coding tools such as 3M Encoder and other coding platforms will be preferred.
6. Good understanding of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA.
7. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Life Sciences preferred.
