Role & responsibilities

- Manage domestic and international logistics activities including transportation, freight, and shipment coordination
- Plan and monitor material movement aligned with project schedules
- Ensure timely delivery of project equipment and materials to site locations
- Handle import/export documentation, customs clearance, and statutory compliance
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport agencies
- Ensure adherence to international trade and logistics regulations
- Develop and manage relationships with logistics service providers and transport partners
- Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, Stores, and Finance teams for smooth execution
- Resolve logistics issues, delays, and escalations proactively
- Optimize freight and logistics costs without impacting delivery timelines
- Track logistics KPIs including TAT, freight cost, delivery performance, and claims
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- Ensure accurate logistics documentation, shipment tracking, and reporting




- Maintain compliance with safety, statutory, and company policies

Preferred candidate profile

- Candidates with 1015 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Strong background in project logistics within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience in import/export operations and customs clearance
- Experience handling heavy equipment/material logistics preferred
- Proven ability to manage freight, transportation, and logistics vendors
- Positive knowledge of ERP systems and logistics tracking tools
- Strong coordination skills across procurement, projects, stores, and finance teams
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle delays and escalations
- Cost-conscious with ability to optimize logistics spend without affecting delivery timelines
- Exposure to large-scale project logistics is an added advantage
