Job Description

Job Summary

The BIM specialist will support the BIM manager in the successful delivery of BIM requirements across multidisciplinary projects. The role is responsible for BIM coordination, clash detection and management, model quality, digital collaboration, and BIM compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The position is primarily an internal support role with no direct client interaction. The BIM specialist will work closely with project teams, discipline leads, and BIM coordinators to ensure effective coordination, timely resolution of BIM issues, and adherence to project BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the BIM Manager in implementing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project BIM standards.
- Perform multidisciplinary model coordination using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).




- Run clash detection, prepare clash reports, assign coordination issues, and track their closure.
- Lead internal clash review meetings with architecture, structure, MEP, and other project teams.
- Coordinate with discipline teams to resolve clashes and BIM-related issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor BIM coordination activities and ensure compliance with project delivery milestones.
- Support model federation and multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform model health checks and ensure compliance with BIM standards, modeling practices, naming conventions, worksets, shared coordinates, and project requirements.
- Support the BIM Manager in maintaining BIM standards, templates, workflows, and digital delivery processes.
- Assist in managing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including model coordination, issue management, document reviews, and collaboration workflows.
- Prepare BIM coordination reports, clash reports, dashboards, and project status updates for internal reviews.
- Provide day-to-day BIM support to project teams and assist in resolving Revit and BIM-related technical issues.
- Support BIM quality assurance activities before project submissions.
- Escalate critical BIM coordination issues and project risks to the BIM manager.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to BIM processes, digital delivery, and automation.

Qualifications

Required Skills Experience





- Bachelor''s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 47 years of experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
- Experience working with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
- Good understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM standards, LOD requirements, and coordination workflows.
- Experience in preparing clash reports and driving clash resolution with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the BIM Manager in project delivery.

Additional Information

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

- Experience with Python scripting for BIM automation and workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of Dynamo for Revit automation.
- Experience with Revizto for issue management and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience in developing Power BI or other BIM dashboards for project reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge of Revit API, BIM Interoperability Tools, or Model Checker.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Power Query, or other data analytics tools.
- Experience working on Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or advanced manufacturing projects will be an added advantage.
