Application Security Architect

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and communicate future and current product security initiatives.
- Document security architectures, designs, and standards.
- Develop and enhance application security processes, programs, and procedures.
- Contribute to secure reference architectures and patterns for all product/application teams to leverage.
- Collaborate with development teams across the organization to secure products.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of software development, architecture, and application security.




- An ability to improve system development security across diverse technical teams and technologies.
- Strong understanding of risk management and the real-world impacts of architectural decisions.
- Experience architecting and deploying applications securely in cloud environments.
- Design and implement secure application architectures across various enterprise environments and cross-platform technologies.
- Conduct security architecture reviews of existing and recent applications, identifying potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Define security requirements for applications and APIs, ensuring compliance with NIST, OWASP, and other relevant security standards.
- Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines for developers.
