We are looking for: Solution Engineer Integration E-House Engineering Youll make an impact by:

Review customers technical specifications, one-line diagrams, plant layout and schematic diagrams regarding the application of Siemens MV/LV switchgear products, along with associated protection and control systems, and design appropriate product solutions to meet the customers expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Independently engages with customers during Order Kick-off meetings and business development discussions, effectively facilitating technical conversations, securing necessary approvals, aligning project milestones, and supporting Proposal and Sales teams with strategic technical inputs.

Work closely with the cross functional teams for an efficient and effective execution of the project from the Bid Phase to the Project execution to handover phase.

Work independently to create all documents for customer approval and manufacture E-House at supplier works.

Collaborate with globally based sales & proposal, technical teams independently to generate technical solutions for the Siemens suite of products.

Ability to take complete technical ownership of scope defined in solution package projects from initial concept through to final handover.





Lead efforts to improve team processes and tools to drive up overall team efficiency.

Treat all Siemens information and customer information confidentially.

This role is based in Chennai, where youll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.

- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
- 8-year engineering experience in EPC, engineering, manufacturing, utility, or industrial corporate workplace 5+ years experience in field of E-House or building electrical integration engineering.
- Experience with the design, review and manufacturing of E-House (containers having electrical panels inside) or building electrical integration engineering.
- Knowledge about preparation Substation Single Line Diagram & Schematic Diagrams, Communication Lines, Interlocking Engineering, International Standards, placement of Fire Detection Systems, CCTV, Access control, Air conditioning.
- Knowledge about Interfaces between various panels, Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and integrated Factory Acceptance Testing (i-FAT) procedures.
- Knowledge about MS Project, Project Management, Document Management, preparation of RFQ / Inquiries to Suppliers, awareness of EHS Risks & Measures, Order Execution Process, Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to analyze customers technical specifications, enlist shortfalls in provided information, coordinate to gather information via oral & written communications.
- Excellent collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills in a team environment, and demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Travel Required Less than 10%.
