Role & responsibilities To design, develop and implement Lighting System - Exterior & Interior
Benchmarking of lighting technologies .
POC, SOR, DVP, TSO & development for lighting systems, meeting all functional, quality & regulatory standards / requirements with in project time line.
Interact with supplier from concept to SOP capturing all SOR requirements & address build & validation issues .
Managing and tracking of design release, development, validation & field failures .
Knowledge in Optics & CAE Thermal, Vibration & Condensations.
Should have additional knowledge in Wiring harness, Electronics.
Review & release technical specifications & other documentations.
Should have detail knowledge in Optics, CAD packaging & design, DFMEA and GD&T; .
Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of tools used in DFMEA,



problem solving tools and techniques and project management tools .
Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, project etc.
Very Valuable Vehicle system knowledge in Lighting optics & electronics and other E&E; aggregates in the vehicle.
Market research & Industry trend analysis through tools like benchmarking, networking, conferences, papers, etc .
Design thinking through collaboration with internal studio, experts across industries & suppliers for amalgamating the technology into the product .
Expertise in Catia V5 (must), Catia V6 3DX (added advantage) & Optics.
Simulation Software like SPEOS (optional)
Knowledge in electronics & LEDs
Program management skills
Basic level knowledge in Vehicle electronics
