Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated FPGA Design Engineer with 23 years of hands-on experience in FPGA design, development, and verification. The ideal candidate will have experience in RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing closure, and hardware validation. Candidates with exposure to board-level hardware design and embedded systems will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement FPGA solutions using Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Develop RTL for high-performance digital designs and integrate FPGA IP cores.
- Perform functional simulation, synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis.
- Debug and validate FPGA designs on hardware platforms.
- Optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and resource utilization.
- Develop and execute verification test plans and support system integration activities.
- Prepare design documentation, test reports, and engineering documentation.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of experience in FPGA design and development.
- Strong proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with FPGA development tools such as Altera Quartus Prime, AMD Vivado, or Libero SoC.
- Good understanding of FPGA architecture, digital logic design,



and finite state machines (FSMs).
- Experience with simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim, QuestaSim, or Xcelium.
- Knowledge of timing analysis, timing closure, and FPGA optimization techniques.
- Experience in hardware bring-up, debugging, and laboratory validation.
- Robust analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Altera, AMD (Xilinx), or Microchip FPGA families.
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, JESD204B/C, Aurora, Serial RapidIO, or LVDS.
- Experience with embedded processors (Nios II, MicroBlaze, ARM SoCs) and FPGA-SoC platforms.
- Exposure to board-level hardware design, PCB bring-up, and system integration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as TCL or Python for design automation.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Added Knowledge

- Knowledge of FPGA-based signal processing, image processing, AI acceleration, or communication systems.
