Role & responsibilities

Write SQL queries to retrieve, insert, update, and delete data.

Assist in developing stored procedures, views, and functions.

Support database design and data modeling activities.

Monitor and maintain database performance.

Troubleshoot SQL-related issues and resolve data inconsistencies.

Assist in data migration and ETL activities.

Generate reports using SQL queries.

Perform database testing and validation.

Document database processes and technical specifications.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.

Preferred candidate profile

Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL.

Understanding of relational database concepts.

Familiarity with joins, subqueries, views, indexes, and normalization.

Knowledge of any one database system such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Basic understanding of stored procedures and functions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn current technologies.
