Job Description:
• Assign accurate ICD10CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for Emergency Department (ED) facility services
• Review ED medical records including provider documentation, charge sheets, and reports
• Ensure compliance with CMS, payer guidelines, and facility coding standards
• Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks
• Identify and resolve coding edits, denials, and discrepancies
• Adhere to HIPAA and compliance guidelines
• Work closely with QA and billing teams to ensure clean claims submission
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 2years of hands-on ED Facility coding experience
• Mandatory certification: CPC / COC / CCS (Active)
• Strong knowledge of ED facility coding guidelines
• Familiar with modifiers, APCs, and charge capture
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
