Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled system administrator with a minimum of 2 years of experience to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in system administration, network management, and firewall security, particularly Sophos Firewall. The candidate should also stay updated with current IT technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry best practices.
Positive understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilties

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers and desktop environments.
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall and related security policies.
- Ensure system security, data backup,



antivirus management, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Monitor server performance and implement necessary upgrades and optimisations.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, email systems, and Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related support and maintenance.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and system configurations.

Stay updated with emerging IT technologies, cybersecurity threats, cloud services, and market trends

Preferred candidate profile

2 to 3 years' experience in system support and administration, willing to work in US shift timings.

- Candidates residing in Teynampet and nearby locations will be preferred.
- Self-motivated and capable of handling IT operations independently.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends
