About the Role

Associated Deltaway Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (ADLPL), a part of the Golcha Associated Group, is looking for a Deputy Manager - Business Development to strengthen its FTL and 3PL business. This is a remote role with a preferred base in Chennai, responsible for driving business development, acquiring new customers, and expanding key accounts across Chennai and nearby markets. Role & responsibilities

- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to customer onboarding.
- Develop business from manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, retail, engineering, and industrial clients.
- Expand the company's FTL business across Tamil Nadu by identifying and acquiring new customers.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business.
- Prepare commercial proposals,



negotiate freight rates, and close business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, freight pricing, and lane opportunities across Chennai.
- Achieve monthly revenue, gross profit, and shipment volume targets.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in Business Development within the logistics/transportation industry.
- Robust experience in Full Truck Load (FTL) sales and 3PL.
- Good understanding of the Tamil Nadu logistics market and key freight lanes.
- Existing network with transporters and industrial customers is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel.
