Job Description:

Role Summary As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for distributed microservices-based applications.

You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure service reliability, scalability, and quality across APIs and integrations.

Responsibilities:

Own automation strategy for microservices-based applications

Design and implement scalable API and integration automation frameworks

Ensure service-level test coverage across functional, contract, and regression layers

Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality

Analyze failures, improve test reliability, and reduce flakiness

Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to support test environments

Develop automated tests for REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven systems

Validate data consistency across services and databases

Automate service-to-service interactions using mocks and stubs

Execute automation in containerized and cloud-based environments

Monitor automation execution metrics and report quality insights
