Role & responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting & Financial Control

- Manage the complete accounting lifecycle including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and closing processes
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with Ind AS and applicable regulations
- Strengthen accounting policies, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, Companies Act, and taxation laws
- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections

3. Regulatory & NBFC Compliance

- Monitor and ensure adherence to norms applicable to Non-Banking finance companies
- Track capital adequacy (CRAR), provisioning, and asset classification
- Act as the key liaison with regulators, auditors, and consultants

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Design and implement strong internal financial controls




- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to governance standards and fraud prevention mechanisms

5. Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Oversee compliance with direct and indirect tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.)
- Ensure timely filings, payments, and tax optimization strategies

6. Managing Audit and Due Diligence:

- Handling the audit queries
- Having regular connects with Auditors
- Completion of Interim and Statutory Audit on time
- Providing information to Auditors on time as per the Audit

Preferred candidate profile

CA is a mandatory qualification

10 years in Finance & accounting and 5 years in NBFC / banking is preferred

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Ind AS, accounting, and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of NBFC/loan operations

- Understanding of RBI, CIBIL, and CERSAI compliance
- Solid analytical and reporting skills
- Team handling and leadership abilities
