The SharePoint Administrator / Architect Azure Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, administration, governance, and optimization of the organizations SharePoint Online environment while architecting and deploying secure, scalable Azure infrastructure solutions. This hybrid role combines expertise in Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms with Azure cloud infrastructure to support enterprise applications, automation, and digital workplace initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, administer, and govern SharePoint Online, including site architecture, permissions, document management, and lifecycle management.
- Develop SharePoint solutions, intranet portals, workflows, and integrations using Power Platform and Microsoft Graph API.
- Plan and implement Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, Azure Files, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
- Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep, or Terraform.
- Configure and support Azure networking, identity integration, security, and resource governance.
- Collaborate with Microsoft 365, Identity, and Security teams to implement Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview solutions.
- Automate administration using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure Automation.
- Lead SharePoint migrations, Azure infrastructure projects, platform upgrades, and operational support while ensuring security, performance, and compliance.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of SharePoint Online administration and architecture experience.
- 2+ years designing and implementing Azure infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure networking, storage, compute, and identity services.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep or Terraform, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint governance, Azure security, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud best practices.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) (preferred)
