The role is responsible for driving large-scale adoption and implementation of SSC Nasscom initiatives, with a focus on FutureSkills Prime (FSP), across the assigned states ( Tamil Nadu Puducherry ) through strategic engagement with government bodies, academia, and industry. It includes enabling curriculum integration, managing end-to-end program delivery, and building a robust skilling ecosystem to achieve defined targets in enrolment, certification, and employability outcomes.

Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility
Key Responsibilities
1. Government Policy Engagement
Lead strategic engagement with state departments, ministries, and regulatory bodies (higher education councils, skill missions, technical education departments) to drive adoption and scale of FSP. Build solid relationships with senior decision-makers and support policy advocacy for integration of industry-aligned skilling within formal education systems.
2. Academia Partnerships Institutional Development
Establish, expand, and manage partnerships with universities and institutions across engineering, degree, and polytechnic segments. Build sustained relationships with Vice Chancellors, Registrars, Deans, and faculty leadership to enable long-term collaboration and ecosystem development.
3. MoUs, Proposals Strategic Positioning
Lead end-to-end development and execution of MoUs with government and academic institutions. Create proposals, concept notes, and presentations to position FSP as a preferred, credit-linked skilling offering aligned with institutional and state priorities.
4. End-to-End Program Implementation (FSP)
Drive the complete lifecycle of FSP implementation including onboarding, enrolment, delivery, assessments, certification, and credit equivalence. Ensure achievement of defined targets with high standards of quality and adherence to timelines.
5. Curriculum Integration Capacity Building
Collaborate with universities and regulatory bodies to enable curriculum alignment, credit mapping, and integration of FSP courses. Drive student engagement through workshops, bootcamps, and awareness sessions, and enable faculty development through FDPs and ToT certifications.
6. Industry Connect Employability Outcomes
Facilitate industry partnerships for internships, live projects, and placement opportunities. Work closely with talent connect initiatives to enhance employability outcomes for certified learners.
7. Program Management, Stakeholder Coordination Governance
Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of programs. Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, governance frameworks, and audit requirements.
8. Performance Management, Reporting Scaling
Own delivery of defined KPIs including enrolments, completions, certifications, institutional onboarding, and government program outcomes. Maintain robust MIS and reporting systems, represent NASSCOM in key forums, and drive continuous improvement, innovation, and scale across the region.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience
Graduate - Preferably B -Tech
3-5 years of experience into Business development in the Skilling Industry , Education / Ed Tech Industry
