Job Descriptions:
1. We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Power BI Consultant with positive proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power BI Service to join our growing analytics practice.
2. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Power BI development, data modelling, and stakeholder management, with a proven ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end BI solutions across diverse business domains.
3. The Power BI Consultant will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data models, interactive dashboards, and actionable insights, while independently managing the full BI lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
Primary Skill Sets required:
1. BI solutions using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
2. Data models using dimensional modelling, star schema, snowflake schemas, relationships,
and hierarchies.
3. DAX: time intelligence, complex measures, dynamic calculations, CALCULATE, FILTER
4. SQL skills: joins, aggregations, subqueries, window functions, stored procedures
5. Experience with relational databases: any 1 is mandatory - SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc
6. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts facts, dimensions, ETL, staging layers.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications – Added advantage.
- Microsoft Certification: PL-300 – Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with the Azure Data Stack — Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD for Power BI using Azure DevOps, ALM Toolkit, or Tabular Editor
- Experience with the Power Platform — Power Apps, Power Automate — for integrated business solutions.
