Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Wintel System Engineer with 5+ years of experience to manage and support enterprise Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, PowerShell, virtualization, networking, and server infrastructure. The role involves maintaining secure, highly available, and optimized Windows environments while supporting automation and infrastructure best practices.

Location: Chennai

Work Model: Night Shift USA Alaska Time Zone

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, PKI, and File & Print Services.
- Perform Windows Server patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
- Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows Server and infrastructure issues.
- Implement security best practices, including CIS hardening where applicable.
- Work with ITSM tools for incident, change, and problem management.
- Support Azure fundamentals and hybrid infrastructure.




- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration (2012/2016/2019/2022/2025), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, PKI, Certificate Management, and File & Print Services.
- Valuable experience in Windows Server patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, VMware, Hyper-V virtualization, TCP/IP networking, Routing, VLANs, and server infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Hybrid Infrastructure, ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management), Security Best Practices, and CIS Hardening.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of Always On VPN, Microsoft Failover Clustering, and physical server management (HP, IBM).
- Microsoft certifications such as Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
