Role & responsibilities

Handle monthly and annual financial closing activities.

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

Prepare and issue customer invoices and support billing processes.

Process bank payments and monitor cash transactions.

Prepare and file GST and TDS returns in compliance with statutory requirements.

Maintain fixed asset records and asset accounting.

Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audit activities.

Monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis.

Prepare financial reports and management reports for the Japan headquarters.

Analyze accounting data and propose process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Required Skills

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.

Experience in monthly and annual closing activities.

Knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.





Experience in statutory and internal audits.

Hands-on experience in Tally and/or Zoho Books.

Experience in accounting system implementation, setup or migration is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Excel.

Valuable communication skills in English.

Preferred candidate profile

Accounting experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping or warehousing companies.

Knowledge of import/export transactions and freight-related accounting.

Experience handling vendor payments, customer invoicing and reconciliation.

Experience with Zoho Books or Tally.

Experience working with Japanese companies is an advantage.
