Role & responsibilities

To ensure implementation of quality standards for construction activities Project Quality Plan, Tolerance & acceptance criteria, ITP, technical specifications for materials and Work methodologies, checklists for construction activities

To schedule and conduct Internal quality process, product audits at project sites on monthly, quarterly basis based on CONQUAS framework

To conduct Weekly Quality review meetings with all contractors and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

To coordinate with vendors and project sites and arrange for trials and mock-ups for current construction technologies and alternate materials.

To ensure horizontal deployment of quality best practices across all projects

To ensure all workers are trained as per in-house developed visual video-based SOPs, Pictorial SOPs for key construction activities

To prepare & circulate MIS for Quality on weekly basis for all projects.

To monitor and ensure that Quality assurance, quality control procedures and required standards are maintained through regular site visits. To be 100% available at project sites for ensuring quality control.

To go for factory visits and site visits as part of vendor and contractor pre-qualification process and evaluate them quality parameters

To prepare & conduct trainings related to quality standards for Engineers and Supervisors & ensure worker training is done through master trainers.



To ensure & carryout snagging of units as per Pre delivery inspection process and ensure to deliver zero defect homes to customer

To conduct cross-audits as per requirements & manage the quality team effectively.

To carry-out analysis & implement improvement actions based on in-process audit data, quality non-conformities and observations, customer inspection and complaint data on monthly basis

To be part of CFT for carrying out quality improvement projects using structured problem-solving methodologies PDCA / QC Story approach

To coordinate and engage with various external stakeholders like consultants, training agencies to meet department objectives like Worker skill certification initiatives, mix design optimizations etc.

Authority

1. Conduct quality review meeting with project management team & contractor's team.

2. Issue work stop notice on deviations

3. Audit & Approve the mock up & project signoff

4. Recommend to descope the contractor/ suppliers to contract & purchase department.

5. Recommend to hold RA bill / enforce penalty for not meeting the requirements of quality compliance.

6. Audit, approve/ reject the readiness of units for customer handover.

7. To issue and close NCRs across all projects

Required :

B.E. /B. Tech Civil Engineering from reputed university

12 to 18 years of QA/QC experience in real estate sector
