Job description

A Data Automation Tester ensures the quality, integrity, and performance of data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. They build automated test frameworks to validate massive datasets, prevent data corruption, and speed up regression testing without manual intervention.

Core Responsibilities

- Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for data validation and API testing.
- ETL & Data Testing: Verify data integrity across systems, ensuring that data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded without loss or truncation.
- Test Automation: Script and execute automated test suites for data comparison, backend, and data warehouse applications.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
- Test Data Management: Generate automated test data and condition data sets to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

- Programming Languages: Proficiency in ETL or Data Testing




- Database & Querying: Advanced SQL skills are mandatory for complex database querying and backend testing.
- Automation Tools: Experience with data comparison tools and automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright.
- Data Methodologies: Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Ab-Initio), and Big Data environments.
- Soft Skills: Robust analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to operate effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Primary Skills - Database testing (ETL/ SQL), Selenium Automation. AL prompt experience(Mandatory)

Secondary Skills - Working experience with data Engineering, data Architecture and Al. Cloud experience to AWS, Lambda, Glue(Good to Have)

Work Experience- 6-11 Years

Location- PAN India

Notice Period- 0-30 Days (Officially)
