Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of experience in automotive plastic part design (preferably Auto lighting).
Proficiency in CAD tools CATIA Solid and Surface modelling
DFM, DFM, Materials and Manufacturing process awareness
Knowledge of injection moulding processes and tooling design.
Familiarity with GD&T; and tolerance analysis.
Robust understanding of automotive lighting regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
Apply Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles to optimize tooling and reduce production complexity.
