Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications and SAPUI5 components as per UX best practices and Fiori design guidelines.
- Build and maintain CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) services using Node.js or Java for backend logic and OData API exposure.
- Create and manage SAP HANA and PostgreSQL database schemas, views, stored procedures, and perform CRUD operations.
- Leverage SAP BTP services including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, SAP Workflow Management, SAP Event Mesh, and SAP Authorization & Trust Management.
- Integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend systems (S/4HANA, ECC) via OData services, REST APIs, and CDS (Core Data Services) models.
- Configure and deploy applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtime environments.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
- Perform code reviews, documentation, and ensure adherence to SAP development best practices and coding standards.

Role & responsibilities

- Strong proficiency in SAPUI5 framework MVC architecture, controllers, models (JSON/OData), views (XML/JS).
- Hands-on experience building custom SAP Fiori apps — Freestyle, Fiori Elements (List Report, Object Page, Analytical List Page).
- Expertise with Fiori Launchpad configuration, shell plugins, and cross-app navigation.
- Proficiency in OData V2 / V4 consumption and extension in Fiori apps.
- Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and VS Code for Fiori/UI5 development.
- Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization in UI5.
- Solid experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using CDS,



Node.js,/Java.
- Building multi-tenant SaaS applications on SAP BTP using CAPM.
- Defining CDS data models, service definitions, annotations, and extending standard SAP services.
- Implementing CAP event handlers, custom logic, and integrating external services via Remote Services.
- Using CAP with SAP HANA Cloud for persistence and deploying via MTA (Multi-Target Application).
- Proficiency in SAP HANA Cloud — creating tables, calculation views, stored procedures, and SQL Script.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, query optimization, and CRUD operations.
- Working knowledge of HDI (HANA Deployment Infrastructure) containers for database artifact management.
- Ability to design efficient data models and write complex SQL queries for business reporting and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cockpit — subaccount management, service instances, role collections.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP services: SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP Workflow / Build Process Automation, SAP Event Mesh, SAP Connectivity Service, SAP Destination Service.
- Experience with SAP Authorization and Trust Management (XSUAA) for authentication and authorization.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma runtime for deploying CAP and Fiori apps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for BTP (SAP CI/CD Service, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA extensibility — side-by-side extensions using BTP.
- Knowledge of SAP Build Apps (low code) and SAP Build Work Zone.
- Familiarity with SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Exposure to BTP AI Core / Generative AI Hub for AI-powered application development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments.
- SAP BTP certifications (C_BTP_2408 or related) will be a solid advantage.
