Job Responsibilities

- Design HVAC and MEP systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and residential projects.
- Prepare HVAC system designs for Chillers, VRF/VRV Systems, Ducted Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Piping.
- Perform Heat Load Calculations using industry standards and design software.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, duct routing, chilled water piping layouts, refrigerant piping layouts, and ventilation drawings.
- Develop equipment selection and sizing for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation fans, pumps, and related equipment.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on client drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for design coordination and clash identification.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and project teams during the design and execution stages.
- Prepare schematic drawings, single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, and installation details.
- Ensure compliance with IS, ASHRAE, NBC, and client specifications.
- Provide technical support to estimation, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Assist in technical submittals, material approvals, and shop drawing preparation.




- Support value engineering and design optimization to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate design revisions and maintain document control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in HVAC/MEP design.
- Experience in HVAC contracting, MEP consulting, or engineering companies is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Chiller, VRF/VRV, Ducting, Ventilation, Chilled Water Piping, and Refrigerant Piping design.
- Expertise in Heat Load Calculations and HVAC equipment selection.
- Robust knowledge of pipe routing, duct routing, and coordination with other building services.
- Experience in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material schedules from client drawings.
- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of HVAC design software
- Good understanding of HVAC design standards, codes, and engineering best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver designs within project timelines.
