Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer with up to 2 years of experience in the MEP design industry. The candidate will assist in the design, drafting, and coordination of electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. The role involves preparing electrical design drawings, calculations, and supporting senior engineers throughout project execution.

- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Prepare electrical layouts, power distribution layouts, lighting layouts, cable routing, and earthing drawings.
- Perform basic electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.
- Support the preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), panel schedules, and equipment schedules.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams to ensure design integration.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable local and international standards, codes, and regulations.
- Draft and modify drawings using AutoCAD and assist with Revit MEP/BIM modelling activities.
- Participate in project meetings and assist in resolving design-related issues.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submittals under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare documentation required for project submissions and approvals.
- Maintain project records and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in MEP design consultancy or building services engineering.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Understanding of electrical design principles, power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with relevant standards such as IEC, IS, NEC, or local regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred Skills Exposure to MEP Industry environment and Commercial projects Knowledge of electrical design software like AUTOCAD Experience working on commercial buildings, factories, warehouses, data centers, or industrial facilities will be an added advantage.
