Role & responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in the Embedded & Digital Solutions team at DIS/Creadis, you will contribute hands-on to building and maintaining the DevOps platform.

You will work alongside senior engineers and architects to deliver well-tested, reliable software from CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts to APIs and integrations helping wind energy engineering teams work faster and more confidently

- Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows under the guidance of senior engineers
- Develop scripts, tools, and extensions to support customer requirements
- Contribute to technical design discussions on pipelines, APIs, and integration components
- Write clean, well-tested code following team engineering practices code reviews, unit testing, and observability
- Identify and fix bugs and reliability issues in existing pipelines and tooling
- Participate in code reviews giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and architects across the program
- Write and maintain clear documentation for the components you build and own

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-10 years of experience building and shipping software in a professional environment
- .NET development experience C# and familiarity with the Azure DevOps ecosystem
- Python or C++ scripting or development experience
- Practical experience with CI/CD concepts and pipeline tooling




- Good software engineering fundamentals — clean code, testing, and version control (Git)
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate systems using standard patterns (REST, messaging)
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow your technical skills
- Team-oriented by nature — comfortable contributing in a team setting and asking for help when needed
- Professional English communication skills — written and verbal

- Interest in or exposure to the wind energy or engineering simulation sector

What Is NOT Part of This Role

To set clear expectations, the following areas are outside the scope of this position.

Simulation & Model Development

Building or maintaining electrical simulation models (PSCAD, PowerFactory, PSSE, TSAT).

Running or interpreting electrical simulations, grid compliance studies, or power system analysis

Infrastructure & Platform Administration

IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration tasks

Project & Programme Management

Managing project timelines, budgets, or stakeholder reporting — that sits with the Project Manager and Head of Operations

Customer-facing account management or commercial negotiations

Hardware & Embedded Systems

Design or development of wind turbine hardware, firmware, or embedded control systems

WTG or PPC hardware commissioning or field support
