Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Java API Design Imagery Engineer to design develop and maintain scalable API platforms and imagery processing solutions The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Javabased backend development RESTful API design microservices architecture and image managementprocessing technologies The role involves working closely with product owners architects and crossfunctional teams to deliver highperformance digital solutions

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop secure scalable and reusable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

Define API standards governance versioning strategies and documentation practices

Develop microservicesbased solutions and integrate with enterprise platforms

Design and implement image ingestion transformation storage retrieval and rendering services





Integrate APIs with cloud services thirdparty applications and image repositories

Implement security controls including OAuth2 JWT authentication and authorization mechanisms

Build automated unit integration and performance tests

Collaborate with UI product and DevOps teams to ensure seamless endtoend delivery

Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements

Required Skills

Technical Skills

Strong handson experience in Java 81117 Spring Boot Spring MVC and Spring Security

Expertise in REST API design API lifecycle management and API Gateway technologies

Experience with Microservices Architecture and eventdriven systems

Knowledge of image processing concepts image metadata image transformation and storage strategies

Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL Oracle MongoDB or MySQL
