AR Caller Roles & Responsibilities

Follow up with US insurance companies on unpaid or denied medical claims.

Analyze claim denials and identify the reason for non-payment.

Resolve denied, rejected,



or underpaid claims.

Work on Hospital Billing and/or Physician Billing accounts.

Communicate with insurance representatives to obtain claim status.

Re-submit corrected claims when required.

Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

Update claim status and notes in the billing system (such as EPIC, if used).

Meet daily productivity and quality targets.

Coordinate with internal billing and coding teams to resolve claim issues.

Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient data confidentiality.
