Job Summary:

Orchids The International School is seeking passionate and creative DIY
Teachers to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in inspiring and educating students through engaging hands-on activities in Art & Craft and/or Technical subjects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Prepare and conduct a variety of instructional activities, including demonstrations, discussions, and independent practice.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct and participate in workshops, exhibitions, and other events as directed by the central team.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in professional development activities and workshops to enhance teaching skills.




- Attend all mandatory training sessions scheduled by the central team.
- For Technical Teachers: Be willing to learn and assist with the basic maintenance of woodworking machines, hand tools, and electric circuitry.
- Supervise students during hands-on activities and provide guidance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Art Education, or a related field.
- Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (for Technical Teachers)
- Preferred: Degree/Diploma in ATD/BFA/Art & Craft (for Art Teachers)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for teaching and a strong desire to inspire students.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Openness to learning recent techniques and exploring innovative teaching methods.
- Willingness to travel for intercity training (once every two months).

Important Note: Candidates must not be allergic to dust, as woodworking activities may involve minimal sawdust exposure.
