Role & responsibilities

- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and sales forecasts.
- Prepare and release production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Stores, Production, and Quality departments for smooth execution of production plans.
- Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to the planned schedule.
- Track production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure material availability by coordinating with the procurement and stores teams.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Optimize machine capacity and manpower utilization.
- Analyze production capacity and prepare capacity planning reports.
- Prepare production work orders and manufacturing schedules.
- Follow up on shortages of materials and expedite critical items.
- Monitor daily production performance and prepare MIS reports.
- Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) by minimizing production delays.
- Coordinate with maintenance to reduce machine downtime.
