Role & responsibilities

- Lead daily production activities to achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) targets.
- Supervise welding production lines and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Manage shop floor manpower, shift planning, attendance and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, TPM, Kaizen and problem-solving activities.
- Monitor production efficiency, downtime and productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics and Production Planning teams.
- Develop team members through coaching, training and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Take corrective actions to resolve production and quality issues.
- Maintain discipline and ensure smooth shop floor operations.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-8 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Hands-on exposure to welding processes.
- Strong manpower handling capability.
- Experience in supervising production shifts.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
