Key skills

- At least 12 years of expertise in managing end-to-end payroll operations with high accuracy.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement with a focus on payroll operations.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or equivalent certification.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Six Sigma projects aimed at streamlining payroll processes, reducing cycle times, and minimizing errors.
- Apply DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in payroll operations.
- Develop and implement process documentation, SOPs, and training programs for payroll procedures.
- Collect and analyze payroll data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)



related to payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Report findings and progress to senior management, recommending actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and payroll teams to integrate automation tools and technologies that enhance payroll processing.
- Evaluate and implement software solutions to improve data accuracy and reduce manual workload.
- Ensure payroll processes comply with internal policies and external regulations, including tax laws and labor standards.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.
- Provide training and mentorship to payroll team members on Six Sigma tools and techniques.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the payroll department.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement with a focus on payroll operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
- Experience in payroll or HR-related industries.
- Project management experience.
- Robust leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
