Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA systems across DEV/QA/PROD.

- Perform HANA upgrades, patches, migrations, and system refreshes.

- Monitor and manage system performance, memory usage, workload, and system health.

- Implement, configure, and manage System Replication (HSR) and High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR).

- Perform backup and recovery using HANA Studio/Cockpit and third-party tools.

- Manage HANA multitenant database containers (MDC) and tenant administration.

- Conduct performance tuning, SQL trace analysis, and query optimization.

- Perform user administration, security management, and audit configurations.

- Troubleshoot critical incidents (P1/P2) and ensure quick resolution with root cause analysis.

- Work closely with SAP Basis, OS, and Infrastructure teams for system maintenance.

- Prepare runbooks, SOPs, documentation, and support release activities.





Required Skills & Experience:

- 715 years of solid experience in SAP HANA Database Administration.

- Strong hands-on experience in HANA installation, configuration, patching, and migration.

- Expertise in HANA Cockpit, HANA Studio, DBA Tools, and monitoring solutions.

- Experience managing HANA System Replication, HA/DR setup, and failover handling.

- Strong knowledge of Linux OS (SUSE or RedHat)—commands, file systems, tuning.

- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query analysis.

- Understanding of SAP Basis, NetWeaver, and SAP landscape architecture.

- Valuable understanding of backup/recovery strategies and storage concepts.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
