Key Responsibilities

- Create realistic and stylized hair, fur, feathers, and other grooming elements for characters and creatures.
- Develop and optimize groom assets based on project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with modeling, look development, rigging, and animation teams.
- Ensure groom assets meet artistic and technical standards.
- Troubleshoot and refine grooming setups to achieve the desired visual quality.
- Maintain consistency in style and quality across assets.
- Optimize groom assets for rendering and production efficiency.

Requirements

- Proficiency in grooming tools such as XGen, Yeti, Ornatrix, Houdini Groom, or similar software.
- Experience with Autodesk Maya and grooming workflows.
- Robust understanding of hair and fur behavior, styling, and shading principles.
- Knowledge of rendering pipelines and asset optimization techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work within project deadlines and production schedules.
