Role: Test Data Governance Lead & Training & Capability Governance Lead
Location: Kochi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad
Exp Range: 5-8 Years

Required Technical Skill Set
• 5-8 years of overall experience in test data management (TDM), data governance, quality engineering enablement, or QA capability development • Minimum 23 years in a governance, architect, or enterprise enablement role, responsible for defining standards, policies, or operating models rather than executing delivery
• Prior hands-on experience earlier in career in test data management, data quality, or QA delivery (required for credibility; not for execution in this role)
• Experience working in large, multi-portfolio and multi-vendor environments, supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• Exposure to data privacy, regulatory compliance, and audit-driven environments, especially where production-like data is used for testing
• Experience defining and governing training programs, certification paths, and skill-maturity models at an enterprise scale

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1. Test Data Governance • Definition and enforcement of enterprise Test Data Management (TDM) policies and standards • Governance of test data demand intake, prioritization,



and approval workflows • Policy definition for data masking, subsetting, synthetic data generation, and refresh cadence • Oversight of data corruption prevention, data integrity, and environment readiness • Governance of self-service TDM models, including access controls and auditability
2. Data Privacy & Compliance Governance • Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements impacting test data usage • Governance of test data usage in alignment with enterprise security and compliance policies • Participation in audit reviews, risk assessments, and compliance reporting related to test data
3. Training & Capability Governance • Design and governance of role-based QA training curricula (QA, SDET, SMEs, Architects) • Definition of certification paths and skill-maturity frameworks • Governance of training compliance tracking, SLA adherence, and capability KPIs • Identification of enterprise skill gaps and definition of remediation strategies
4. Enablement & Continuous Improvement • • Governance of knowledge management, learning platforms, and QA academies • Continuous improvement of training content based on technology evolution, AI adoption, and maturity assessments • Collaboration with TCOE leads to align capability readiness with enterprise quality goals
5. Tools knowledge is required to define standards, approve usage, and audit compliance, not to operate tools daily.
