Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Senior Engineer / Lead with strong expertise in automation testing, API testing, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium, Postman, and SOAP UI, along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, track,



and report defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to understand requirements and testing scope.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
- Ensure software quality standards and best practices are followed.
- Mentor junior QA team members and guide them on automation best practices.
- Work closely with DevOps/CI-CD teams for automated test execution integration.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python.
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
- Good understanding of automation frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong SQL/database testing knowledge.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Rest Assured or API automation frameworks.
- Exposure to Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Docker.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is an added advantage.
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred.
