About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing. You will work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through automation and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks from scratch.
- Automate Web, Mobile, and API test cases using modern automation tools.
- Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers during sprint planning, code reviews, and release cycles.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.
- Drive test automation best practices and mentor junior QA engineers.
- Continuously improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.

Required Skills





Must Have

- 712 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Playwright
- Cypress
- Selenium WebDriver
- Appium
- Python

- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of Web, Mobile, and API automation.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Good understanding of REST API testing.
- Robust knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Git and version control.

Good to Have

- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
- SQL and database validation.
- Performance testing tools like JMeter.
- BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working on cloud-native applications.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and modern test automation practices.
