Role & responsibilities

- Implement and support Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) solutions for accounting transformation initiatives
- Gather business and accounting requirements and convert them into functional designs
- Configure Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules including journal line rules, account derivation rules, and mapping sets
- Design and manage accounting entries generation for multiple source systems
- Work on data integration from upstream systems into FAH using interfaces or integration tools
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements
- Perform reconciliation between subledger and general ledger systems
- Support UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
- Troubleshoot accounting and data issues, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare functional documentation, solution design documents, and training materials

Key Skills:

- Strong expertise in Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA) configurations including journal line rules, account derivation rules,



and mapping sets
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, including journal entries, subledger to general ledger flow, and financial reporting
- Experience in designing and implementing accounting transformations for data coming from multiple source systems
- Proficiency in data integration and interfacing, including working with upstream systems and handling high-volume financial data
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP, and their application in system configurations
- Hands-on experience with reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy between subledger, FAH, and General Ledger
- Ability to perform data analysis and troubleshooting, identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting or system issues
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying for validation, reporting, and issue analysis
- Solid experience in functional documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, and test scripts
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, working closely with finance, IT, and business teams
