Must-Have

- Advanced knowledge of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols
- Advanced experiences with Enterprise Cisco routers and switches
- Familiarity with SolarWinds, Gigamon, Aruba, Cradlepoint and CounterACT
- Designing and developing high-level network architecture strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and technical requirements.
- Configuring/Troubleshooting LAN Switching and Cisco Wireless, Wireless Controller
- Configuring/Troubleshooting WAN MPLS, MPLS/VPN
- Configuring/Troubleshooting of Application Load Balancers
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating network performance, reliability, and security posture, and implementing improvements as needed.
- Develop and implement network security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and secure remote access solutions.
- Managing relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers to evaluate products, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams,



including IT security, application development, and operations, to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and standards, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Creating detailed network design documents, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans for large-scale network deployments.
- Resolving escalated network issues and providing expert-level troubleshooting support for complex problems.
- Conducting capacity planning and performance analysis to ensure scalability and optimal performance of network infrastructure.

Good-to-Have

- ITIL Foundation Certification or Valuable Knowledge of ITIL Process
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) & CCNP certified
- Knowledge with Cloud and virtual network technologies
