Position: SOC Manager

Location: BluSapphire | Reporting to: Director Operations

Role Summary

BluSapphire is expanding its Security Operations Center (SOC) and seeks an experienced, client-facing cybersecurity professional with a strong ownership mindset. The SOC Manager will lead end-to-end SOC operations, mentor analysts, manage critical incidents, and ensure 247 operational excellence. The role includes occasional overnight, weekend, and on-call responsibilities after the initial 60-day ramp-up period.

Experience

1012 years in Information Security / Cybersecurity

3+ years as a SOC Manager

Key Skills

- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Expertise in SIEM, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, CASB, IAM/PAM, vulnerability management, and security operations
- Threat hunting, incident response, malware analysis, forensics, and threat intelligence
- Knowledge of networking, endpoint security, cryptography, and security frameworks




- Scripting/automation and security tool tuning

Core Responsibilities

- Lead and manage 247 SOC operations and shift coverage
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and alerts
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability remediation, and forensic analysis
- Manage and optimize SIEM and other security monitoring tools
- Handle critical/high-severity incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Provide technical leadership to L1/L2 analysts and mentor the SOC team
- Ensure KPI/SLA compliance, reporting, and runbook maintenance
- Drive continuous improvement, training, and team development aligned with OKRs.
