Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing contemporary data platforms on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, developing semantic models, and delivering enterprise-grade analytics solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT solutions to ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple data sources into Azure Data Lake Storage and enterprise data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows, and Data Engineering solutions.
- Create and manage Power BI datasets, semantic models, and row-level security (RLS) to ensure secure and governed access to data.
- Develop advanced reports and dashboards using Power BI, leveraging strong DAX and Power Query (M Language) capabilities.




- Configure and manage Power BI Service, including workspaces, gateways, deployment pipelines, and report embedding solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and architects to translate business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and performance optimization practices across the data platform.
- Support data governance initiatives by applying best practices for data security, compliance, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, transformation, and reporting issues.

- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and its core components.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Power BI

- Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
- Experience in developing and managing:

- Power BI datasets
- Semantic models
- Row-Level Security (RLS).
