1.1 POSITIONINGPositionSAP SD Application managerAnalystSupervisory roleYes NoReports toHead of ApplicationsGrade (Hay)161.2 PURPOSE OF THE ROLEWithin the IT Flat Europe organization, the Digital & IT Finance and Procurement perimeter is responsible for the IT Strategy of the Finance and Procurement functions, including efficiency, process and system exploitation and optimization.

The SAP SD Application manager analyst will join an IT department focused on the implementation of SAP based solutions for invoice-to-cash business requirements. You will act as subject matter expert of the SAP Sales and Distribution processes, from delivery to cash, having a good understanding of the ArcelorMittal business processes.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Requirements Analysis and Solution DesignUnderstand the European business requirements related to eInvoicing and eReporting, imposed by the EU-commission.
Support the SD functional analyst to analyze the business needs of the organization and use their knowledge to design, customize, develop, and configure SAP ECC software systems.
Determine which newest SAP software solutions could help the business to accomplish specific milestones.SAP System Development and CustomizationKnowing SAP advanced business application programming (ABAP) code to enable you to script, debug, and understand the applications you are working on, increasing your efficiency and effectiveness.




Identify automation opportunities and analyze creative solutions such as digitalization tools, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, resulting in direct reduction of manual workload and increased data accuracy.System Maintenance and Issue ResolutionFocus on the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of SAP application errors, bugs, and other system problems.
Manage system back-up and upgrade.
Closely follow up on the release of OSS-notes.

3.3 REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES MUST HAVE

- Technical development (ABAP) experience with SAP SD/MM in ECC system of minimum 5 years is mandatory
- Technical development (ABAP) experience with SAP BTP, SAP DRC and SAP RDP (SaaS packages) is mandatory
- Having basic knowledge of SAP FI/CO
- Knowing ABAP development language
- Have a passion for technology and analytics
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Communicate technical problems and solutions to non-technical users and stakeholders
- Problem solving and reporting skills
- Ability to be flexible, stress resilient and work to deadlines

3.4 PREFERRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
