Senior Engineer , Embedded systems/Firmware Engineer

Location Hyderabad

Experience Required: 4-9 years
Education: Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and optimize firmware for microcontrollers (ARM, RISC-V based boards)
- Program in embedded C/C++ for IoT and connected devices
- Integrate sensors and actuators with microcontroller boards
- Implement wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT)
- Design and develop firmware architecture for cloud connectivity
- Create firmware test procedures and unit tests
- Debug hardware-firmware integration issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Collaborate with hardware engineer on PCB design requirements and constraints
- Provide firmware specifications to cloud backend engineer for API design




- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related failures during testing
- Maintain code documentation and version control (GitHub)

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Microcontroller programming (STM32, ARM Cortex, Arduino platforms)
- Embedded C/C++ programming
- IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, BLE, WiFi)
- RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) experience
- Hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer)
- Sensor calibration and integration
- Real-time systems and low-power optimization

NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
- Previous IoT product development
- Power management and battery optimization
- EMC/EMI awareness
- Hardware-in-the-loop testing
