Key Responsibilities

1. Data Migration & Conversions (Primary Focus)

- Perform data migration using:
- FBDI (File-Based Data Import) Mandatory
- ADFdi (where applicable)

- Prepare and validate:

- Data templates, staging files, and load files

- Perform:

- Data validation, reconciliation, and error correction

- Support:

- Cutover activities and migration cycles

2. Report Development (BIP & OTBI)

- Develop BI Publisher (BIP) reports (data models, templates – RTF/XSL)
- Create/modify OTBI reports & dashboards
- Work on BIP extracts and scheduling
- Ensure data accuracy and audit-ready outputs

3. Integrations Support

- Support integrations using:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- File-based integrations

- Collaborate with OIC team for testing and issue resolution
- Assist with data extraction using BIP/SQL logic

4. SQL & Data Handling

- Write and optimize SQL queries for:
- Data extraction, validation, and reporting

- Handle data formats:

- CSV, XML, JSON

5. Testing & Defect Resolution

- Perform:
- Unit Testing, SIT/UAT support

- Identify and fix issues in:

- Data loads, reports, integrations

- Retest and validate fixes

6. Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain:




- Data migration docs, mapping sheets, load logs
- Report specifications and outputs

- Ensure:

- Audit readiness with reconciliation reports

Required Skills

Core Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in:
- FBDI – Mandatory
- BI Publisher (BIP)

- Working knowledge of:

- OTBI
- REST/SOAP APIs (basic)

- Robust expertise in:

- SQL
- Data handling (CSV/XML/JSON)

Functional Understanding

- Basic knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules (ERP/HCM/SCM)
- Understanding of data migration lifecycle (ETL, validation, reconciliation)

Good to Have

- Exposure to:
- ADFdi
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

- Experience in:

- Implementation / Support / Upgrade projects

- Oracle Certification (preferred)

Soft Skills

- Good communication & coordination
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work under deadlines
