A Brief Overview

The Staff AI Security Innovation Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing security capabilities to enable security to use AI models, data, and infrastructure. This role involves evaluating security needs and building AI to meet the emerging threat landscape.

What You Will Do

- Reduce the complexity of AI security projects, services, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Own and deliver multiple large, security focused products or services, complex libraries, or major infrastructure and software components.
- Define and drive AI security strategy by developing security plans, shaping architectural decisions, and contributing to short and medium term technical direction.
- Identify and implement solutions that address future and emerging security needs.
- Provide technical and security guidance in AI related domains, serving as a trusted subject matter expert across data protection, model security, and ethical considerations.
- Anticipate product level, AI security, and ethical risks, making architectural and design decisions that proactively prevent or mitigate issues.
- Actively listen and guide technical debates to reach alignment, clearly communicating decisions and their rationale.
- Foster a culture of trust and accountability by empowering team members to take ownership of their work.
- Facilitate cross team collaboration to amplify the effectiveness and impact of partner teams.
- Build and sustain a culture of mentorship and inclusion by mentoring team members, advocating for their growth, and advancing technical skill development.
- Seek out, receive, and act on feedback from junior team members, peers, and leadership.




- Partner closely with AI engineering teams to lead AI security problem formulation, align on solutions, participate in security review boards, and translate product requirements into implemented security solutions.

Education Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

License/Certification Qualifications

- Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar.

Experience Qualifications

- 8+ years of related experience with proven experience in AI security, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Skills and Abilities

- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their security implications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with security frameworks and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP).
- Knowledge of cloud security practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
