Job Title: Python Developer (with DevOps Interests)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Python Developer to join our development team. This role is ideal for a developer who not only enjoys writing clean, efficient code but is also curious about how that code is deployed, scaled, and maintained. You will work closely with our team to build robust backend services while gradually gaining exposure to modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Python (FastAPI).
- Database Integration: Write and optimize SQL queries and manage data persistence layers.
- CI/CD Collaboration: Assist in automating deployment pipelines and maintaining containerized environments.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Code Review: Participate in peer code reviews to learn best practices and maintain high standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Python Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of Python 3.x,



including data structures, file I/O, and asynchronous programming.
- Web Frameworks: Basic experience with at least one Python web framework (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
- DevOps Fundamentals: * Familiarity with Git version control (branching, merging, pull requests).
- Basic understanding of Docker.
- Conceptual knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

- Linux Basics: Comfort working within a terminal/CLI environment.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a desire to learn recent technologies.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantages)

- Oracle SQL: Experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, or managing schemas within an Oracle Database environment.
- Cloud Awareness: Basic exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Scripting: Ability to write Bash or Python scripts to automate repetitive manual tasks.
