Experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or IT Operations, with at least 3 years in a DR coordination, BC/DR management, or IT resilience-focused role.
- Proven experience coordinating and facilitating Disaster Recovery tests across multiple technology domains in a complex enterprise workplace.
- Demonstrated experience in creating, maintaining, and governing technical DR documentation and runbooks across heterogeneous IT stacks.
- Experience working cross-functionally with infrastructure, application, cloud, and business teams on DR planning and testing programs.
- Exposure to hybrid environments (on-premises Data Centre and Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) from a DR/resilience perspective.
Technical Knowledge
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components relevant to DR: Compute (Windows/Linux servers),
Storage/Backup platforms, Networking, Active Directory, Databases, and Cloud services.
- Familiarity with backup and replication technologies (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Zerto, AWS/Azure native DR services) and their role in meeting RPO targets.
- Working knowledge of cloud DR capabilities including cross-region replication, snapshots, pilot light, and warm standby architectures.
- Understanding of RTO/RPO concepts, business impact analysis (BIA), and recovery prioritization frameworks.
- Familiarity with ITIL Change and Incident Management processes and their integration with DR workflows.Role & responsibilities
