Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with a strong technical background and mandatory experience in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with API development and integration, programming, and testing. Prior experience with InsureMO is preferred; however, candidates with relevant insurance experience and the required technical skills will be provided training on the InsureMO platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using up-to-date programming technologies.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
- Work with JSON, XML, and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications for API design and integration.
- Develop business rules and workflows using Groovy, Rego, and Blockly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Perform API testing, unit testing, and support integration testing activities.
- Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Use Git for version control and JIRA for Agile project management.
- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Mandatory experience in the Insurance domain (P&C;, Life, or Health Insurance).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working on the InsureMO platform.
- Exposure to enterprise integration and API-driven architecture.
- Experience with microservices-based applications is an added advantage.

Important Note

- Insurance domain experience is mandatory.
- Experience with InsureMO is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with the required insurance experience and technical skills will receive training on the InsureMO platform.
