Eligibility Criteria:

- CCS / CIC Certification is Mandatory
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant IPDRG/Inpatient Medical Coding experience (as applicable to the role)
- Solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG/IPDRG concepts, and coding guidelines
- Good understanding of clinical documentation, reimbursement, and coding compliance
- Excellent analytical, communication, and quality-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

- Review inpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG codes.
- Ensure compliant and accurate DRG assignment based on clinical documentation.
- Perform coding validation and quality reviews (for QA roles).
- Identify documentation gaps and support Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) initiatives.
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks while adhering to coding and compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, auditors, and internal teams to resolve coding queries and improve documentation quality. These responsibilities align with common IPDRG coding, QA, and CDI expectations across the industry.
