Role: AS400 Developer (RPG Mandatory)
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Bangalore/ Pune/ Hyderabad/ Chennai/ Kolkata
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Payroll: Pacific IT

Key Skills Required:

- Robust hands-on experience in AS400 / IBM iSeries
- RPG (RPG III / RPG IV / ILE RPG) Mandatory
- CL Programming
- DB2/400
- SQL on AS400
- Query/400
- IBM iSeries environment
- Debugging and production support
- Good understanding of application maintenance and enhancements

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 applications using RPG
- Develop and support RPG, CL, and DB2-based applications
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support




- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize existing programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and follow development best practices

Good to Have:

- Experience with RPG Free Format
- Exposure to COBOL on AS400
- Knowledge of API integrations and web services
- Experience working in Agile environments
